Wolf Foundation summer internship stipend

We are excited to offer a stipend to current Wolf Foundation sophomores and juniors for a career-related internship in summer 2026. We want to help you gain on-the-job experience in an internship that otherwise might be unaffordable because it pays too little or incurs unaffordable living or other expenses.

The stipend will be at least $1,000, or possibly more depending on our resources, and will be disbursed by the end of May 2026. Here are the eligibility rules:

  • Recipients must be current Wolf scholars in their sophomore or junior years who have attained a minimum 3.0 GPA every semester, as shown on transcripts. They must also be in "good standing" with the Wolf Foundation, meaning they never had a grant suspension, and their rosters/transcripts are up to date.
  • Recipients must complete this application (separate from their regular grant applications) and describe how the internship will align with their declared major or career goals.
  • The internship must last 2-4 months over summer 2026, paid or unpaid. The employer must be a legally registered business or organization and must provide written confirmation of the internship to scholars, who in turn must forward it to the Wolf Foundation along with employer contact information.
  • After the internship in fall 2026, recipients will be expected to renew their Wolf scholarship, return to college, and tell the Wolf Foundation about their experience if asked. (We may reach out to you on these steps).

Our selection criteria:

  • We will prioritize juniors, who are closer than sophomores to the end of their college career.
  • We will prioritize low-paid or low-compensated positions, which we will verify with the employer. The Wolf Foundation does not encourage or condone wholly unpaid or uncompensated internships.
  • We will take into account the applicants' GPA and their descriptions of internships and career goals.
